[Chapter 1: Occupant Sin 4]
Chapter 1: Occupant Sin 4
Mr. S. Pain goes to Spain! Travelling to a remote rural location with the Captain to buy a biological weapon, Pain finds himself suddenly up against a massive cult of Spanish brainwashed zealots out for his blood.
Can the intervention of a seven-foot Scotsman and a well-dressed woman who looks suspiciously like his accountant save the day? And what role does the druggie superagent Jack Bauser play in things?
(It's basically Resident Evil 4. Seriously.)
Episode published on Monday 24th of August, 2015.
Sam pointed out that Burdener probably invested in a giant novelty glass factory at some point, hence the big jar. The giant mutant grasshopper inside is actually called a "Novistador" (lit. "the unseener"). In Resident Evil 4 they basically serve the purpose of enemies that can turn invisible, spit acid and fly. They belong in glass jars as far as I'm concerned.

(The Captain looks very eager about something.)
Captain: Hey, Boss!
(It's revealed that everyone is currently outdoors, in the small valley underneath the platform they fought Burdener on. Two henchmen approach carrying an unconscious Hayley. The Captain steps aside so his boss can have a good view of the discovery. Pain, in the foreground, seems unimpressed by this find.)
Captain: Guess who we found!
(Pain glances around, suspcious of Peon's absence. The Captain is jerking a thumb in the direction they found Hayley in, unconcerned. The henchmen stand in the background, awaiting orders.)
Pain: Where's the guy with the permadye blonde hair?
Captain: No idea, couldn't find him.
(Pain strokes his chin thoughtfully as an idea comes to him.)
Captain: You want us to send her home?
Pain: No! I've a better idea.
(Pain leads the group over to a freight elevator, the Captain and the henchman obediently following, carrying Hayley with them.)
Pain: Load her on to the helicopter. Let's blow this joint. Literally!
(All the men laugh as they ride the lift to the platform above. Once on the platform, Pain and the henchmen look alarmed by what greets them; Ben casually leaning on a giant glass jar that is housing a giant, mutated grasshopper creature. Betty the medic is stood beside him, looking worried as she strokes her arm nervously. Ben's pet monster with the long tongue sits in a large crate, panting happily. In the background, more henchmen mill around, chatting to one another. A helicopter is parked up, waiting for people to board. Pain approaches his bodyguard, clearly upset by the sight of the mutant grasshopper, which is attempting to scratch its way through the glass. Ben's disappointed by Pain's reaction. The pet looks happy just to be there and Betty is uncomfortable with the whole situation.)
Pain: You can take the horrible abomination to nature home with us but there's no way in hell we're taking that.
Ben: Aww!
Pain: I don't even want to know where you found a jar big enough!
Narrator: And so...
(We cut to the sight of all the Detulux helicopters flying away from the island, which is exploding, the whole place wreathed in flames. Elsewhere on the island, the Merchant and the helpful bald farmer that only ever says "matalo" row away to safety in a boat, the island exploding above them as they float out of a small gully. Rocks fall into the water near them.)
Merchant: 'ee was definitely different from the others, that English fella.
Matalo Guy: Matalo.
Merchant: I hear ya there, buddy.
Narrator: Meanwhile...
(On the other side of the island, Bauser swims away from the explosions, carrying an unconcious Peon on his back. His left arm is still mutated into a horrible razor-sharp wing.)
Bauser: Never expected to see you out here of all places too, Peon. Lucky I came along when I did. No telling what Pain would've done to you. Probably would've left you on the island to blow up. Crazy limey.
(Peon's eyes burst open, glowing red. He looks mad, possessed by the parasite inside him.)
Peon: ...GRUH? GRAAH!
(Peon begins choking Bauser, trying to drag him under the water. Bauser struggles.)
Bauser: Peon! I can't breathe! I'm trying to swim here! Comrade!
Peon: GRAAAGHH!
SFX: SPLOSH SPLASH
(We zoom out to an aerial view of the two thrashing about in the water as black smoke drifts above them from the island.)
Bauser: I'm happy to see you too! Don't make me knock you out!
Peon: GRAAAH!
SFX: SPLASH SPLASH
Episode tagline: Now is not the time for Ben to mention his collection of giant mutant moths pinned to massive boards.
