| Interesting fact: | He is the self-proclaimed "strongest man in the Scottish Highlands" and yet nobody has had the heart to point out that ultimately not a lot of people actually live out there. Being stronger than a few hikers, reclusive toffs and retired grannies is not the greatest accolade to proclaim, but who is going to argue with a seven-foot man with biceps like melons and tendons like bricks? |

Ben Nevis has been an ally of Max Velarion for a very long time. While he has been with Detulux since its inception, he is technically an independent mercenary held on retainer. Some speculate that this might be because Max is unwilling to commit to giving mercenaries a fixed position within the organisation while many just assume that it's because Max doesn't want to patronise the man mountain by "leashing" him to the company, not that anyone would be able to stop Ben from going elsewhere if he wanted to.
Ben possesses almost supernatural strength for his physical build. This remains unquestioned, but suggestions have been made that it perhaps ties to his heritage (whatever it may be).
A gentle giant at heart, Ben is a friendly man with a love for pets. Unfortunately he prefers pets that match his stature which have previously included bears and sharks. The only pet of size that Max reluctantly tolerates is the thing Ben befriended while on mission in Spain, a mutated abomination of a lab experiment he has named "Bono". If anyone asks, Max explains that Bono is the unofficial Detulux gardener.
Rumour has it that Ben wrestled the Loch Ness monster and won. This is a complete lie. He wrestled two Loch Ness monsters, at the same time, and won.
