Chapter 0: The Obligatory Introductory Arc

A protestor breaks into Detulux Incorporated demanding to see the manager, not realising that they are biting off more than they can chew...

Page Notes

Episode published on Friday 24th of June, 2005.

Oh look! An overly pretentious title page!

If you're new to Detulux Incorporated, then welcome! You've officially just stumbled across another cesspit of unoriginality disguised as a webcomic (one full of bad spelling and grammar too, as "unoriginality" is not even a word). If you happen to actually enjoy what you are about to read, then all the better!

Detulux Inc is a hobby. I use it as a means to develop my limited artistic talents, as well as a soapbox to be exploited for satire aimed at films, video games, books and anything else I damn well want to mock. If other people can derive satisfaction from my work, then I recommend they seek medical treatment immediately (but not before reading the entire archive, you've got to have your priorities straight).

If you're one of those people who has stumbled across the current story and are intrigued enough to read from the beginning, then I feel sorry for you! The earliest strips were drawn in 2005 and I like to think that I have become a little bit more consistent since then. Just don't say I didn't warn you when the first strips cause your eyes to bleed and your brain to eat itself from furious disgust.

Title: Detulux Incorporated
Subtitle: Story Arc 00: The Obligatory Introductory Arc

The image on this cover is that of the protagonist, standing in shadow with his back to the viewer. With his right hand he is nonchalantly giving the viewer the middle finger in a gesture just endearing enough to scare off first time readers altogether just through being rude. Underneath this image follows a quote.

Quote: "If you're going to blame me for a crime, I may as well commit it." Attributed to Lupin the Third, Master Thief and Professional Womaniser.
