Detulux REBOOT Announcement

So, a month or so back I did some polls to try and work out how to spruce up the comic and after much deliberation I made the hard decision to reboot the series completely, and I've made a few decisions that might seem a bit drastic but I feel confident that this is the way forward for Detulux! Changes will include the following:

• The series no longer revolves around an arms dealership syndicate, as in this modern age of fear and terrorism it seems terribly irresponsible for me to make light of such atrocities for amusement. Instead, Detulux will now focus around the running of a children's amusement park – the Detulux Magical Funland Inc. With this change comes the removal of harsh language and depictions of violence from all future comics.
• Mr. Pain is to be renamed "Mr. Happy", and will now be a much more responsible character, resolving to solve all of his problems over a nice cup of tea. He is the park's "Funmaster", and does his best to keep his clients happy, but this is made difficult by those mean park inspectors, health and safety officials and Mothers United Against Fun (MUAF).
• The Captain will still be "The Captain", but rather than captain of security he is now the head of the Entertainment Department. He now has an addiction to lollipops rather than tobacco, so as not to promote the smoking of unhealthy cigarettes. His signature body armour has been replaced by his signature teddy bear outfit.
• Ben Nevis is no longer a member of the cast, as he was a stereotype that was horribly racially offensive to Scottish people. Apologies for this brutish character appearing in the old series, his removal should hopefully rectify any issues pertaining to stereotyped racism against the Scottish.
• Mara will make all future appearances as a magical nanny character (a la Mary Poppins). She will spend all of her time saving orphans from the ills of society and reading to ill children in hospital.
• Rather than a warehouse complex on the outskirts of Paris, Detulux's HQ is now a truly magical park located on the outskirts of Dreamland.
• The two doctors will become members of the main cast from episode 1, with some minor changes. Rather than mad scientists bent of global domination, they are now candy scientists who work in and run Detulux's extensive sweetshop, hoping to make new and exciting treats for children of all ages. Ralph is a lot calmer having come to terms with his father issues and acts a lot more responsibly. Gyrode now loves and cares for all animals (including anthropomorphic critters), and is now accompanied by his new cat assistant Alphonse (a cat furry).
• Detulux will now use some new choice fonts, "Jokerman" and "KiddyDB" being prominent as they lend a refreshing professional sheen to the comic.
• Sam will be the colourist for all future Detulux strips, and intends to use the comic as a means to explore the entire colour palette (especially bright colours).

Pain: Welcome to Candyland, kiddos!

(The Captain is wearing a teddy bear suit while placing a lollipop into his mouth. A small sign on his fluffy ears hat reads "I [HEART SYMBOL] U" and another sign on his chest reads "HUG ME!". He is stood against a background of ice cream scoops.)

Captain: Mmm, I love lollipops!

(A simplistic castle sits against a vibrant kid-friendly landscape. The sun has a face and is smiling. A rainbow ends at the castle. The castle is decorated with two giant ice cream cones and features a sign which reads "DETULUX MAGIC CASTLE". Two trees are actually two giant lollipops. A sign in the foreground reads "DETULUX MAGICAL FUNLAND".)

(In the following panel Dr. Ralph Smiffington the Third and Dr. Gyrode appear. Ralph is wearing a brown tweed suit and wears a potted flower on his head, which has a face and is smiling. His hair is brushed, he has a smiley face badge and is holding a jar of sweets. Dr. Gyrode has greased his moustache into two points, wears pink heart glasses and a blue suit which also features hearts. He is being cuddled by a beige cat furry, which purrs as it nuzzles him. Both doctors are stood against a background of shelves full of jars of sweets. Gyrode stands behind a counter that has "Detulux Sweetie Counter - All sweets now come with a free hug!".)

Ralph: How about some chocolate gumdrops?
Gyrode: I love animals! All furry critters are adorable.
Furry: PURR PURR
