The Tim Burton style panels were a really nice surprise. Sam really knocked them out of the park.

Title - 128: "The Consortium"
Subtitle - x. "The Fate of Samada Wrong"
(Leaning slightly, Pain kisses Mara on the hand.)
Pain: If it isn't Samada Wrong!
Mara: Who?
(Pain frowns. Mara appears genuinely unaware.)
Pain: Samada Wrong? You kept calling yourself that the entire time we were in Spain?
Mara: Spain? We went to Spain?
(Pain gets annoyed. Mara rubs her chin in thought.)
Pain: Two months ago! For that sample of that bioweapon thingy!
(Pain flashes back, remembering the mutated form of Burdener and the test tube sample that instigated that entire misadventure.)
Pain: Las Fluga or something?
Mara: A what-now?
Pain: You held me at gunpoint for it!
(Mara pouts.)
Mara: I think I'd remember that. (smiling in a sinister manner) Although I do remember hearing about someone trying to get a bioweapon for the Consortium.
(Mara flashes back to the events of Spain, although since it's going through her imagination filter everything looks like it was drawn by Tim Burton. In the flashback, a very evil looking Pain presents a naive-looking Samada with a brown vial. The Captain stands off to the side, looking annoyed.)
Mara: Apparently someone tricked her into bringing back a glass tube full of poo water instead of the actual sample.
(The flashback moves to a dark room. We can see the silhouettes of Samada and a man. The man shoots Samada through the head, there is a large blood spray.)
Mara: So the boss shot her in the head to make an example.
(Mara stood near the man with the smoking gun and is aghast by the corpse of Samada in front of her, a smoking bullet hole in its temple.)
Mara: Poor bint.
(Pain looks a bit guilty, Mara just shrugs with a smile.)
Pain: Err...
Mara: She was a bit of an idiot, to be honest. Who wears a formal dress and heels in rural Spain?
