Title - 72: "Occupant Sin 4"
Subtitle - liii. "A Monstrous Temper"
(An establishing shot of the village of Pubelo; farmers and villagers are attempting to battle henchmen but are at a disadvantage due to not having any guns whereas the henchmen all have assault rifles. The villagers are all being shot to pieces before they can come close to the henchmen. There are three panels interspersed inside the main panel, the three circular panels containing the three speakers. Pain and the Lieutenant is taking things seriously, whereas the Captain is amused.)
Pain: Did you dispatch a squad to the village of Pubelo like I told you to?
Captain: Heh, "Pube". Still funny.
Lieutenant: Clean-up crew are there right now, Boss.
(Back with the group on the island, Pain is nodding eagerly whilst the Lieutenant rubs the back of his head awkwardly.)
Pain: And have you armed the men in the way that I asked?
Captain: ?
Lietenant: It was an odd request, sir, but yes. We did.
(Satisfied, Pain crosses his arms and turns to face the Captain, who removes his cigarette and clears his throat.)
Pain: Excellent, Lieutenant! Righto, Captain, over to you! Do your thing!
Captain: Mmmkay...Ahem.
(A panel of Captain yelling at the top of his lungs intersects a line of henchmen lowering their guns and presenting in their free hands a single egg each.)
Captain: ALRIGHT, YOU ASSCLOWNS! ALTOGETHER NOW, PRESENT ARMS!
(A panel of the still yelling Captain pointing at Burdener intersects a panel of all the henchmen throwing their eggs at Burdener, who looks both confused and scared.)
Captain: TAKE AIM...FIRE!!!
Burdener: Oh you've got to be fuc-
(Burdener is pelted with eggs. He tightly closes his eyes and raises his arms to defend himself as eggs "SPLAT" against him.)
Burdener: Graaagh!
(He is forced to the edge of the platform, where there is a distinct lack of a safety rail. Burdener, blinded by eggs, has dropped his staff as he clumsily waves around his arms to keep his balance.)
Burdener: You can't do this! Don't you know who I am? Don't you know who I work for?!
(He attempts to wipe the egg from his eyes. He is now covered from head-to-toe in egg yolk.)
Burdener: This is madness!!!
(Burdener opens his eyes to see Pain standing directly in front of him, smirking evilly. Burdener looks a little startled by how close Pain is now standing to him.)
Pain: Madness? No.
(Pain catches Burdener off-guard by screaming in his face.)
Pain: THIS! IS! DETULUX!
(Pain casually kicks Burdener off of the platform. In the following panel, Burdener has disappeared from view. Pain dusts off his hands.)
Pain: Well, that's that!
SFX (hands): PAT PAT PAT
(The Captain and his fellow henchmen all look terrified of something in front of them. Captain, cigarette back in his mouth where it belongs, points to the thing they are all scared of.)
Captain: Er...Boss?
(Pain, brow raised, pauses midway through dusting off his hands and looks mildly irritated by their response. He's completely unaware of what's going on behind him; Burdener's has mutated and has climbed back onto the platform. His neck has elongated and sprouted four spikey, spider-like legs. Each leg has an eyeball in the kneecap. The neck continues up from the mass of legs like a writhing and highly flexible giraffe neck. A pair of horns have sprouted from the top of his head, a third having sprouted from his chin. His jaw has dislocated itself, a giant eyeball roughly half the size of his entire head now sits in his mouth, which is now misshapen to look like he's grinning. His right arm has turned into a tentacle and the left reaches towards his audience. Another tentacle can be seen emerging from the bottom of his robe. He is now a giant monster.)
Pain: Problem?
Episode tagline: See? That egg scene from episode 28 was foreshadowing!
