[Chapter 1: Occupant Sin 4]
Chapter 1: Occupant Sin 4
Mr. S. Pain goes to Spain! Travelling to a remote rural location with the Captain to buy a biological weapon, Pain finds himself suddenly up against a massive cult of Spanish brainwashed zealots out for his blood.
Can the intervention of a seven-foot Scotsman and a well-dressed woman who looks suspiciously like his accountant save the day? And what role does the druggie superagent Jack Bauser play in things?
(It's basically Resident Evil 4. Seriously.)
Episode published on Monday 22nd of October, 2007.
Jack Krauser makes his proper appearance in Resident Evil 4 in style. Appearing in a cutscene this and the next episode is based on, he prepares to cut Leon a new arsehole - and he will too, depending on how quick the player is...more on that next episode.
I do remember that the random gantry in the game really was rather well lit, for a metal platform amongst some pipes in a random building of no particular purpose.

Narrator: More time passes, the Detulux crew split up to cover more ground...
(Pain and the Captain take a cargo elevator up a dark shaft. It halts at the top with a loud "CLUNK". Getting off of the elevator, Pain rubs his chin in thought. We see that the Captain has covered himself in nicotine patches.)
Pain: Hmm...
(Pain reaches inside his jacket instinctively. The Captain thinks he notices a crouched figure on the gantry behind them, but as he turns his head he sees nothing there. There's a "CLANG" as an arm swings on an overhead pipe, an arm full of bruised pin pricks from using a syringe frequently. Before he can say anything to Pain, Jack Bauser lands both his legs on the Captain's chest, having swung from the pipe above. The Captain is thrown back and his his head on a metal railing. Having leapt off of the Captain, Bauser goes to swing his knife at Pain's back. Pain whirls around, blocking the knife with his own combat knife, having pulled it from his jacket.)
Pain: ...Jack Bauser, isn't it?
(They pull in towards each other, knife against knife.)
Bauser: You're Pain, the arms dealer.
Pain: And you're that guy who quit from *C.U.T. to become a mercenary. Stress finally got to you?
*Central Unit (against) Terrorism. Yeah, they couldn't fit "CUAT" on the t-shirts.
(Bauser pulls his knife away and lands a sucker punch on Pain's chin, followed by a kick to his midsection. Pain kneels on the floor a few feet away.)
Bauser: Give it up. You don't stand a chance against me.
(Pain points his knife at Bauser's chest, his face taking on owl-like qualities.)
Pain: O RLY?
(Bauser looks down at his "CUT" t-shirt. In the melee Pain managed to cut the letter "N" into his t-shirt, between the "U" and the "T". Bauser growls, pointing his knife at the sneering Pain.)
Bauser: I liked this t-shirt.
Pain: Well it was nicer to look at than your face.
Episode tagline: When bad things happen to good people, it's probably fate. When bad things happen to bad people, it's probably Jack Bauser.
