There is indeed a man who leaps out of a large oven to scare you, and the fandom has imaginatively named him "Oven Man". As Leon observed in Resident Evil 4, what was he doing in there?
Why was he in there? How did he know when to get out? How did he last so long? Why is the oven shaped like a fridge? And more to the point, why did he go to such lengths to scare the living shit out of me?
All these questions don't really matter while there's a flaming man running at you, trying to give you a deathly hug. One of life's little mysteries, I guess.

Title - 54: "Occupant Sin 4"
Subtitle - xxxv. "Man On Fire"
(Pain enters one of the buildings, into a dark room. The Captain waits behind him, twiddling his fingers together twitchily. A rotting rack of meat hangs next to the door Pain enters through, flies buzzing around it.)
Pain: Hmm, a kitchen...
(Suddenly, a tall oven bursts open in front of him, and a man leaps out of it, covered in flames.)
Man: RAAAARGH!
SFX: FWOOMPF!
(Pain nonchalantly picks up a fire extinguisher and covers the man in foam, extinguishing the flames.)
SFX: FSHHH!
(The man stands before Pain, very badly burnt but appreciative.)
Man: Grazias!
Pain: Don't mention it.
(The man collapses backwards suddenly, dead from his intense burns. Pain looks across the kitchen to see the Captain raiding the various cupboards.)
Pain: What on earth are you doing?
(The Captain walks towards him and the fresh corpse.)
Captain: Gotta find cigarettes. This is my last one!
Pain: You'll end up like this guy on the floor the way you smoke, you know.
(The Captain enthusiastically drops to the floor and begins searching the body.)
Captain: You think he's got cigarettes?
Episode tagline: Remember! Only YOU can prevent person-related oven fires. Where's Ben you ask? He's probably standing in the hallway. Why? Irrational fear of kitchens. He's afraid some guy might be hiding in a huge freezer-shaped oven and might leap out at him while aflame...which is fair enough.
