Mr. S. Pain goes to Spain! Travelling to a remote rural location with the Captain to buy a biological weapon, Pain finds himself suddenly up against a massive cult of Spanish brainwashed zealots out for his blood.

Can the intervention of a seven-foot Scotsman and a well-dressed woman who looks suspiciously like his accountant save the day? And what role does the druggie superagent Jack Bauser play in things?

(It's basically Resident Evil 4. Seriously.)

Back when I did these first strips there was a small following on like-minded teens in my sixth form. We would get together on weekends, post on private forums and work together in an online browser-based MMO called Urban Dead under the group name of "Detulux Inc".

One of these friends was a chap called Matt Tune - I am glad to be able to say that I still call him friend, but we only see each other once every few years now.

Anyway, one day he posts a bit of crossover fanart featuring the Detulux crew and a character of his own devising, "Legendary Yuan". I felt compelled to post a "reply" in the form of this page.

Traditionally on the many webcomic hosts Detulux has seen (Drunk Duck, ComicDish) I tend to leave this page out, but while re-uploading the archive I couldn't bring myself to not upload it just in the commemoration of friendship. Besides, that "non-canon" tag exists for a reason!

(A knight with shocking red hair and a massive broadsword appears in front of Ben, Pain and the Captain. The Captain's skin is a shocking shade of magenta.)

Legendary Yuan: Heh, you will die here, Scotsman - DEUX VALTI!
Captain: Erm-
Pain: Ben?
Ben: Aye, Boss.

Narrator: A little over 30 seconds later-

(Yuan lies on the floor defeated. Ben dusts off his hands with one foot pressed triumphantly on Yuan's back. Yuan's sword has been inserted into his own rectum. Pain is recoiling having just noticed the Captain's skin colour.)

Ben: Well, that was nae so bad, don'tcha think?
Pain: (to the Captain) AGH! What the heck is up with you?
Captain: I think I'm allergic to herbs.
Yuan: Erm...a little help?

Tagline: You know, the canonicity of this strip is highly debatable.
