I think this strip came about because I had discovered the lighting tool in my photo-editing software and felt the urge to use it.

Title - 17: "The 'Fall' Guy"
(Pain's bullet hits the gun in the protester's hand with a loud "PANG", knocking the gun from the man's hand and catching him off-balance.)
Protester: Erk!
(The protester flails his arms around comically as he falls backwards towards the panelled roof behind him.)
Protester: WAH!
(The protester falls through the warehouse roof into the darkness below with a loud "SMASH!". As he plummets head-first he screams.)
Protester: AAGH!
(Back outside, Pain looks concerned.)
Pain: Whoops!
New guy: Sir?
Pain: (angrily) I wanted the blasted idiot to land outside, not inside! Get a torch and some rum, quickly.
New guy: Yessir!
Narrator: And so-
(Pain and the new guy walk through the warehouse, having came in through a side entrance. It is pitch black, which is why they are navigating using a flash-light. Light beams in through the open side door as well, illuminating their backs. They find the protester lying prone in an overturned crate of guns and ammunition. Pain gets down on one knee to examine the body while the new guy holds the flash-light and the rum.)
New guy: Is he?
Pain: He's alive, just unconscious. (He reaches out behind him) Hand me the rum.
(Pain takes the bottle and removes the top.)
Pain: This man's just taken a fall into warehouse twelve. Assuming he had his eyes open, he may have seen things he shouldn't have.
(Pain begins to pour the rum on the protester.)
Pain: But when he wakes up people will think he was drinking when he "saw" the missiles, tanks, helicopter gunships and weapons crates. Ain't that right, rummy?
SFX (bottle): SLOSH!
