Episode published on Thursday 7th of July, 2005.
The reason that there are two titles on this page is because I originally intended to make the format of the comic strip-based, so when I revisited the old strips in 2009 to clean them up a bit, I realised that episode 2 was frankly pointless so I merged it with the third. Now there are two pointless episodes for the price of one (joygasm!).
The implication therefore is that my 17-year old self finished episode 2, which consisted solely of a man running up a staircase into a chunky mitten that vaguely resembles a hand, looked at it and thought "yep, this is finished!". The baffling thing is that it does not even have a punchline, unless you count that abomination that is supposed to be a hand (how is he supposed to bend those fingers?!).
I remember a friend of mine used to have 3D Movie Maker on his Windows 95 PC back when we were about nine, and he made a short film called "The Running Man" which consisted of one scene of a man running across the screen. Perhaps this is what passed for humour amongst my circle of friends (although it was damn funny at the time).
As for episode 3, its purpose is to establish that Detulux Inc is full of self-important patronising gits, so as you can guess everything about Detulux Inc is heavily modelled on my sizeable ego.

Title - 02: "The Running Man"
(A man runs around a corner of a building. The building is not clearly defined but it is implied to be the Detulux building from the previous strip. The man runs down a dark alleyway between two buildings and up a flight of stairs. His feet make tapping noises on the stairs as he runs up them and he begins to puff and pant from the exertion of running. As he leaves the darkness of the alley, his features are revealed - he is wearing a white uniform consisting of trousers, a jacket and a squared cap, along with a pair of black shoes. His only other distinguishing features are the pair of sunglasses he is wearing and the tuft of dark brown hair peeking from under his hat. At the top of the steps, the man runs into a hand held out to stop him, along with a gun barrel - we do not see who these belong to as they are off-panel. The owner of the outstretched hand speaks as the man stops in confusion.)
Unseen person: Whoa! Hold it! Where do you think you're going?
Title - 03: "The New Guy"
(The owner of the hand is revealed to be a square-jawed man dressed in the same manner as the running man. He is slightly taller, has a shaved head and is grinning widely. The running man is no longer running, but seems impatient to get by.)
Bald henchman: What's the rush?
Impatient henchman: I need to see the Boss.
(Bald man turns to his right to another man, this one dressed similarly but with large plates of blue armour over his white jacket, as well as a blue helmet and grey trousers. They share confused looks with each other, before turning back to scoff at the running man.)
Armoured henchman: You're new around here, aren't you?
Bald henchman: Ha!
Impatient henchman: (disgusted with being scoffed at) Hmpf!
